Each phase of the moon has a different meaning and influences the rhythms of our bodies and behaviours. Lunar phases show us how the moon affects the ebb and flow of our entire existence including our health and wellness.
Over our lifetimes, we travel across different states of health and wellness just as the moon travels around the Earth. No matter which phase you are in, at Luna Health we are ready to help you heal, thrive and become full once more.
The team at Luna Integrated Health strives for excellence, providing evidence-based treatments to support our patients and community with consistent high-quality service. Our goal is to empower you to make the health care choices that support you and lead you to your best life.
We observe that too often patients are left navigating their healthcare choices on their own. We know it can be confusing to sift through all the health information that is available to you, especially when you are receiving conflicting advice and information. We believe that our integrated approach ensures that every aspect of your wellness journey is fully supported and cared for. We see your ideal care as collaboration between your team of health care providers and YOU!
At Luna Health, we work together with you to provide you with comprehensive, collaborative and compassionate care.

***booking new patients as of April 2024 and beyond***
Dr. Eriksen has been practicing in Sherwood Park for more than a decade. She is best known for hormone balancing and treating auto-immune and mental health concerns.
She has passion for functional medicine, tracing the origins of disease and dysfunction through the interrelated systems of the body – tying cellular and immuno-chemistry, microbiome and genetics to hormonal health, detoxification, autoimmune disease, neurological health, mental health/mood and cognition, pain management and more! This evidence-based approach is founded learning from her undergraduate studies in microbiology and genetics (UofA)
A formative background in dance informs how Dr. Eriksen views movement and biomechanics. To extend her treatment reach and facilitate pain management and injury recovery (acute and chronic) Dr. Eriksen has taken additional training in applied kinesiology, qi gong and advanced K-taping (kinesiotape.) Her current fascination is fascia and she is engaged in integrating learning from Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Chakra system with western evidenced-based data. This influences her overall approach to chronic pain as she considers both physical stressors and psycho-spiritual stress, trauma and developmental contributors to restriction, imbalance and pain.
Dr. Eriksen’s case approach is practical and pragmatic. And as a mom of two gregarious kids, she strives to engage patients the way she engages life… with compassion, curiosity and humor.
Dr. Eriksen is proud to be a member in good standing with both the National (CAND) and Provincial (AAND) Associatio

Following graduation, she returned to Edmonton and completed 1 year at the University of Alberta before relocating to Tempe, AZ where she attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). While in Arizona Dr. Urban became certified in Applied Kinesiology through the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK) and completed additional training in prolotherapy. Upon graduation, she obtained a license with the CNDA and maintains membership in good standing with the CNDA, the AANP the CAND.

Originally from Alberta, Dr. Galasso graduated from the University of Calgary with her undergraduate degree and then furthered her education by attending the University of Saskatchewan to focus her research interests in toxicology, specifically in understanding the many ways in which biological, chemical, and physical hazards can impact one’s health. It was during this time that her research helped her to discover the benefits of complementary medicine as a means of managing disease and illness. Encouraged by this potential, Dr. Galasso headed to Toronto to study at the world-renowned Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating in 2011. Over the years, Dr. Galasso has worked with a diverse patient population, helping them throughout all stages of their lives including pregnancy, infancy, adolescence and adulthood.
Dr. Galasso has taken advanced training in pregnancy to be able to treat the unique aches and pains that accompany pregnancy to ensure your treatments are safe and effective, helping you to have a healthy and comfortable pregnancy. Dr. Galasso maintains an up-to-date certification in Webster Technique to ensure her treatments remain evidence based and adhere to the high International Chiropractic Paediatric Association standards. With a special interest in treating infants and children, Dr. Galasso continues to advance her skill set and knowledge to be able to offer the safest and most effective care for your little ones.
In addition to being a Family Chiropractor, Dr. Galasso is a DONA trained birth doula and studied midwifery at Ryerson University. In these roles Dr. Galasso has had the privilege of supporting clients and their families during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period. Dr. Galasso draws on her experience and education to offer insightful and practical preparation for both the emotional and physiological experiences of pregnancy, labour and the fourth trimester. Dr. Galasso is trained Sexual Health Educator, is trained as a pre- and postnatal yoga teacher, and is a certified ROST therapist for symphysis pubis dysfunction and pelvic girdle pain conditions.
Dr. Galasso’s approach to care focuses on working directly with patients to resolve the underlying cause of their condition(s), not simply their symptoms. As such, her chiropractic repertoire includes a diverse array of options, including instrument-assisted soft-tissue therapy (Graston® and Myofascial Cupping), therapeutic taping (Kinesotaping®), rehabilitation exercises and recommendations, prescription orthotics, manual and instrument-assisted adjustments, therapeutic ultrasound, and, most importantly, patient education.

Rigel's passion has always been with sports. As a competitive provincial and university athlete, movement based therapies have been integral in sport performance and rehabilitation. In following this passion she graduated from Grant MacEwans 2200hr Massage Therapy program alongside working as a sport massage intern at the university's athletic clinic.
Working in sport, Rigel has gained immense experience working with high performance hockey teams such as Alberta Hockey development programs, local rugby and athletics teams. It was here she realized that movement as a form of preventative measure could enhance athletic performance and aid in recovery. Therefore she continued her education and has added Stotts Pilates through Merithew, undergoing her education at Calgary Pilates. She now blends massage and practical rehabilitation exercises into her sessions.
Using her skills with fascial work, trigger point therapy, hydro therapy, KT Tape, paraffin wax, graston, and fire cupping, Rigel is versed in using a variety of tools to help her patients find movement safely. Her skills have transferred into also taking a special intrest in finding movement post surgery, specifically women's health (breast tissue rehabilitation post cancer/mastectomy/top surgery).
Rigel believes in finding joy in whatever one is doing in life. More often than not you'll find her living her best life! She's the one looking for the small joys in life, like drinking an iced coffee, creating her garden space, sewing something, laughing and doing pilates because it's a gift to be able to move her body.

Joanne Vachon, also goes by the name Jo LaFaeye. She started her healer journey as a massage therapist. Jo found that her massage skills were limited as she could only temporarily help her clients and sought out other modes of treatments. This led her to the manual osteopathic therapy course at the MOCC in Edmonton. This course has awakened her mind to the multitude of treatment techniques. She has found the techniques to be more effective and helpful for her and to her clients. She has fallen in love with this treatment modality and is excited to continue learning, growing and enhancing her skills as a practitioner. Her goal in treatment is to treat the whole body by supporting its innate ability to heal. Finding and addressing the cause of the problem rather than just treating symptoms.
Jo is very kind, compassionate and easy going. She enjoys the outdoors and animals of all shapes and sizes. Even though she doesn't own an animal presently, she hopes to one day be on an acreage and enjoy the presence of multiple different animals.
