We offer a wide array of comprehensive testing options here at Luna Integrated Health. While some are listed below we have additional individualized testing available!
There are various testing options that we offer. Our ND's can run regular lab work through Alberta Precision Labs that you pay & receive a requisition for and get done at any APL lab. We also work with external labs for things like food sensitivity testing, heavy metals, hormones, gut health, parasites, etc via stool, urine or hair.
How those kits work is you would meet with one of our Naturopathic Doctors to discuss your concerns and what you're looking to treat. Most of the test kits we carry in house - and if not in stock can be easily ordered in. They are take home kits with pre-paid shipping packages, so you would pay us for the kit, take the required sample at home and ship it off. It takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks usually for results, depending on how busy the labs are.
Once we receive the results, we will reach out to schedule a follow up with your Dr and go over the results and where to go from there. The cost varies largely and can range from $60 for basic bloodwork and $800 at the higher end for the more broad and specific testing. Our most common food sensitivity kit is $250, mid-range gut health/hormones kits around $300-$700.
